👋 I’m Jamie McDonald. I’m the engineering lead for Core Banking at Monzo. This is my personal blog.

👨‍💻 I build cross-functional teams and ship consumer software products at scale. Before I started managing teams, I spent a decade developing mobile apps like SoundCloud and Deliveroo.

🏃‍♂️ Outside work, I’m a keen distance runner. I’ve completed ~20 marathons including all 6 majors. I also enjoy travelling and taking photos with old film cameras.
